Welcome to Whole Body Healing. Kathryn Hollars is a Licensed Massage Therapist trained in many massage and bodywork modalities and specializes in what she has found to be the most effective treatment, John F. Barnes approach to Myofascial Release Therapy and Myofascial Yoga (RYT 200).
Kathryn “Kat” Hollars has been a practicing, licensed massage therapist since 2007. Her goal has always been to help people feel better. After learning about Myofascial Release therapy, from a friend (who explained that it gives longer lasting results than massage), she attended her first John F. Barnes Myofascial Release seminar in 2012. Learning about the fascial system and its importance in our bodies was eye-opening and gave her new hope for her clients. Kat sees the body as a whole and works to find the cause of the pain/dysfunction instead of just treating the symptoms. She has experienced profound and lasting healing both as a client and a practitioner of MFR and strives to help others on their healing journeys, as well as, empower them with self-treatment tools and techniques.
She is committed to providing the best care possible for her clients and so, continues to expand her knowledge and experience. Kathryn Hollars has trained directly under John F. Barnes, PT, who developed this powerful and effective therapy. She has attended Myofascial Release I x 2, Myofascial Release II x 2, Unwinding x 2, Advanced Unwinding, Cervical Thoracic therapy, Fascial Pelvis therapy, Myofascial Rebounding, Subtle Energy, MFR Healing Seminar x 2, T4T (a week of therapy for the therapist), and a Skill Enhancement Seminar, (a week of intensive, internship-style training, at the Sedona John Barnes' Myofascial treatment center and MFR III).
In 2018 she became certified with Myofascial Yoga Institute of Canada as a Myofascial Yoga instructor (RYT 200) so that she can help people heal by teaching them how to care for and strengthen their bodies.
